CORNUS KOUSA CHINENSIS
Grower Notes:

The Chinese Dogwood, commonly referred to as the Kousa Dogwood, is a small, deciduous flowering tree or multi-stemmed shrub that has white, star-shaped flowers that bloom in late spring. Flowers are followed by pinkish red berry fruits that persist into fall and attract birds and other wildlife. In fall, its foliage matures to a brick red and exfoliating tan and gray bark provide winter interest. This unusual dogwood is hardier, more drought tolerant and disease resistant than the Cornus Florida.
